Choosing a blog

I have been reading web logs for some time, especially those in Hitchitch.com. I have thought about creating my own blog. I am computer literate to some extent but not in the web creation area. Therefore, I have been looking at what is available on the internet. The only way to learn is to dive in so here goes.
